On August 16 at 5 pm, at the Bijoy Nagar Ornate Hotel (Three Star) Ballroom in the capital, at the initiative of the Television Journalists Association of Bangladesh TEZAB, the 5th founding anniversary of TEZAB, a discussion meeting titled “The potential of the tourism industry in the economic prosperity of Bangladesh”, Excellence Award-2025 and poetry festival, the late filmmaker Amjad Hossain, distinguished Nazrul singer Ferdous Ara, distinguished photojournalist Alhaj Md. Nuruddin Ahmed and prominent media personality Tashiq Ahmed will be presented with the awards by BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Habibur Rahman Habib and BNP Chairperson’s Advisor, renowned teacher of Dhaka University, Professor Dr. Su Komal Barua, President of Forever Barisal and Barisal District Association in Dhaka, Engineer Iqbal Hossain Taposh, and national leaders will be present as special guests. The program will be presided over by the President of Television Journalists Association of Bangladesh (TEJAB), Scientist Poet Hasnain Sajjadi. TEJAB Secretary General Poet Ashok Dhar will deliver the welcome speech, TEJAB Executive Chairman and Special Representative of Janatar Awaz UK, Md. Manjur Hossain Isa, will deliver the welcome speech, and Television Reporters Unity of Bangladesh (TRAB) President Salam Mahmud will deliver the welcome speech.
